Okay, here comes the update on the “All Blogs on One Vine” Free Banner Advertising Campaign.

You can call this the Round-II Result. But I am going to call it a Random Top Blogs Selection Round as there were so many blogs to select from. We got nearly 700 submissions in the last 7 days and choosing only a few blogs out of these was actually a horrible task, especially because most of these blogs were of great quality with plenty of useful articles and posts, from some or the other point of view. So, I decided to randomly choose 11 Blogs out of these good quality blogs and feature them on the Blogsvine Banner Spaces for a week.

I’ve also got some suggestions from couple of our members to link to the blog’s home page while featuring these blogs. So, these banners will now link directly to the Blog’s Home Page.

instead of:

The “vinethis.php” will check if the URL has been submitted already and if not, it will call the submit.php. Otherwise, it will directly add a “Vote” to it (if the URL is already submitted to Blogsvine).

It’s already time to announce the result of our First FREE Banner Ad Campaign and I would like to draw some attention from the Bloggers. There were many great submissions and it was really hard to select only 4 top stories/articles for the Category 1. Okay, I was talking about Blogsvine slogan – “All Blogs on One Vine” in one of my last blog entries. And I also talked about a new campaign that we were planning to organize. Well, here we come with our Phase 1 (March 19 to April 19, 2008)!

Here are some details on our new “All Blogs on One Vine” campaign.

If you take a look at Blogsvine.com, you will find 12 72×72 banner spaces being reserved, just below the header. We will be giving out 11 of these banner spaces to out bloggers in the coming weeks. And the one remaining will be linked to this blog entry.

There are two Categories of Banners as described below:

Category 1:

Out of the 11 72×72 banners, 4 banners are reserved for the best blog stories/articles/entries submitted to Blogsvine.com. We will start to look out for the best blog entries from today and we will announce them on Wednesday, 19th March ’08.

Category 2:

The other 7 72×72 banners spaces are reserved for those blogs who show us more love by talking about Blogsvine on their Blogs. We will divide these 7 banners into two sub-categories – Category 2(a) - 3 banners for the most well written reviews of Blogsvine on their Blogs and Category 2(b) -4 banners for the most popular reviews of Blogsvine (based on the traffic that they refer to us at the end of 7 days from now, i.e. March 19 2008).

So, how long the banners will be shown on Blogsvine?

For Category 2, the banners will be shown for 1 whole month. (From March 19 to April 19, 2008)

For Category 1, the banners will be shown for 7 days and then we will select second round of blog entries to be displayed for the next 7 days, till the end of Phase 1.

The whole “All Blogs on One Vine” campaign may repeat again after this First Phase if it turns out good both for our bloggers and for us.

Requirements:

For Category 1, simply submit your blog stories to Blogsvine.com. Only Blog Stories will be counted and not Blog Home Page URL as a whole. The Banners will also link to the single Blog Entry and not to the Blog Home Page.

For Category 2, you have to send us an email at admin[@]blogsvine.com with a link to your Blog Entry on or before March 19, 2008 to qualify. We will send back an acknowledgement email for all entries. You can write about anything, in any style and in any format with a link back to Blogsvine.com and a mention about this blog post. If you can mention our slogan “All Blogs On one Vine” somewhere in your article, that will be awesome. And also, the banners can be linked to your Blog Home Page.

Please note that the decision of the Blogsvine Admin will be final on how who will win the banner spaces. All updates will be reflected on this blog and we will also send out email to the winners of the Banners Spaces.

First, I would like to thank all the bloggers who have helped us grow by submitting their blogs and blog stories to Blogsvine. Let’s keep the spirit alive and let’s stay blogging.

Well, the purpose of this blog post is to draw the attention of bloggers onto a new offer we are going to release in the coming weeks. The Slogan for this new special campain will be “All Blogs on One Vine” and under this, we will be featuring some of the blogs submitted to Blogsvine and also some blogs who have shown us more love by talking about Blogsvine on their Blogs. The featured Blogs will be shown on the front page of Blogsvine, just below the header. You can either submit your own banner or we will manage to get one created for your blog.

Right now, we are working on the design integration and hope this incredible offer will be released as soon as we complete the integration work. Take care guys.

Okay, Blogsvine is now 14 days (2 weeks) old. But the good news is, it is growing like a SUMO. We have just crossed 500 (published blog stories) mark and it is still increasing.
